Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ashapura Minechem, Pokarna Ltd, Ami Organics, Anant Raj and Mazda Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 18.96 points down at 23688.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Spacenet Enterprise, Rana Sugars, Baid Leasing, Odigma Consultancy and Digjam, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, TCS, RIL, ITC and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while Apollo Hospital, Trent, Shriram Finance, Bajaj Auto and UltraTech Cem. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 50.62 points at 78148.49.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cables, Mining, Learning & Education, Defence and Textiles sectors during the day.
