Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of ITI Ltd, Avonmore Capital, Dev Information Tech, Deccan Cements and Lloyds Metals, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 183.91 points down at 24004.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Spacenet Enterprise, Jai Corp, Aki India, Astral Poly Tech and Global Surfaces, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Tata Motors, Titan Company, SBI Life and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while Wipro, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports SEZ and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 720.6 points at 79223.11.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cables, Learning & Education, Mining, Defence and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
