Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Transrail Lighting L, Dhani Services, Eicher Motors, Welspun Ent and Majesco(PP), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 445.75 points up at 24188.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Jai Corp, Filatex Fashions, Salasar Techno Engg, Utkarsh Small Finance Bank and Barbeque-Nation Hosp, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 48 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 2 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance, Maruti Suzuki and Shriram Finance were among top gainers during the day, while Sun Pharma, Britannia, Dr. Reddys, HDFC Life and ICICI Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1436.3 points at 79943.71.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in Cables, Mining, Learning & Education, Defence and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
