Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Taj GVK Hotels, Authum Investment, Lords Chloro, Bajaj Healthcare and Camlin Fine Sc, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 98.11 points up at 23742.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Akme Fintrade(India, Mamata Machinery, Abans Holdings, Hardwyn India and Palred Technologies, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, L&T, Bajaj Finance and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Dr. Reddys, Adani Ports SEZ, ONGC and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 368.4 points at 78507.41.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, Mining, Cables, Defence and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
