Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Crisil, Univastu India, Majesco(PP), Indo Thai Sec and Asian Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Crisil, Univastu India, Majesco(PP), Indo Thai Sec and Asian Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 0.11 points down at 23644.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Mamata Machinery, Barak Valley, Universus Photo, Odigma Consultancy and Filatex Fashions, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BEL, ONGC, Kotak Bank, Trent and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 109.12 points at 78139.01.

Traders piled up positions in General, Aquaculture, Apparels, Engineering and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Cables, Learning & Education and Mining sectors during the day.
