Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Sundaram Brake, BSL Ltd, Aaron Industries, Mohit Inds and Asian Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 165.96 points up at 23753.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as U Y Fincorp, MT Educare, Coffee Day Ent, Odigma Consultancy and Digjam, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, ITC, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank and Trent were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle India, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finserv ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 498.58 points at 78540.17.

Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
