Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

GIC, Hisar Metal Ind, Sambhaav Media, Mohit Inds and Salzer Electro, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of GIC, Hisar Metal Ind, Sambhaav Media, Mohit Inds and Salzer Electro, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 364.21 points down at 23587.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Balaxi Pharma, Sanghi Ind, Digjam, Odigma Consultancy and Bharat Gears, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 4 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 46 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Life and Titan Company were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Trent, IndusInd Bank, M&M and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1176.46 points at 78041.59.

Traders piled up positions in General, Apparels, Beverages - Alcoholic, NBFC and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Cables, Learning & Education and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
