Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Orbit Exports, DCM Ltd, Rudrabhishek Ent, United Nilgiri Tea and Siyaram Silk, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 219.6 points up at 24768.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Odigma Consultancy, Ecos(India)Mobilit, WABCO India, Rajratan Global and IndusInd Bank, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Bank, ITC, HUL and UltraTech Cem. were among top gainers during the day, while Shriram Finance, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Hindalco and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 843.16 points at 82133.12.

Traders piled up positions in General, Apparels, Telecommunications, NBFC and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Cables, Learning & Education, Industrial Consumables and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
