Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Madhav Copper, BSL Ltd, Enviro Infra Enginee, Dharamsi Morarji and Banaras Beads, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 181.11 points up at 24457.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Aki India, C.E. Info Systems, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Akshar Spintex and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 41 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, NTPC, Adani Ent., L&T and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp, ITC, HDFC Life and Sun Pharma ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 597.67 points at 80845.75.

Traders piled up positions in General, Apparels, NBFC, Shipping and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Cables, Industrial Consumables and IT Software sectors during the day.
