Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of 3P Land Holdings, Vimta Labs, Gillette India, Next Mediaworks and The Anup Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 314.66 points up at 24221.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Magnum Ventures, Astron Paper & Board, JP Associates, CMI Ltd and Kuantum Papers, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 41 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 9 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, L&T, BEL, BPCL and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Bajaj Auto and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 992.74 points at 80109.85.

Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Consumables, Aquaculture and Rubber sectors during the day.
