Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Neuland Labs, Tera Software, Electrotherm, SaskenTech and Orient Technologies, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 257.85 points down at 23883.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Electronics Mart Ind, Akums Drugs & Pharma, Spaceage Products, JK Lakshmi Cement and Relaxo Footwear, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 7 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Trent, Infosys, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech and RIL were among top gainers during the day, while Britannia, BEL, NTPC, HDFC Bank and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 820.97 points at 78675.18.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Consumer Durables, Industrial Consumables, Construction and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
