Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pix Trans, Vardhman Hold, Tera Software, JSW Holdings and Tainwala Chem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 6.91 points up at 24141.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Akums Drugs & Pharma, Asian Paints, Sahyadri Ind, Aarti Inds and Brand Concepts, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Trent, Infosys, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Britannia, Apollo Hospital, Cipla and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 9.83 points at 79496.15.

Traders piled up positions in General, Beverages - Alcoholic, Rubber, NBFC and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Building Materials, Industrial Consumables, Construction and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
