Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of JSW Holdings, Tera Software, Avalon Technologies, Adroit Infotech and Innova Captab, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 51.15 points down at 24148.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Aarti Inds, Satin Creditcare, Ceigall India, Brainbees Solutions and Aditya Vision, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Titan Company, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while Trent, Coal India Ltd, Asian Paints, Tata Steel and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 55.47 points at 79486.32.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Consumables, Construction and IT Enabled Services sectors during the day.
