Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of KRN Heat Exchanger, JSW Holdings, Gokul Refoils, Shaily Engg Plastics and Kaynes Technology, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 270.75 points up at 24484.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Raymond Lifestyle L, MITCON Const & Engg.(PP), MT Educare, Ceigall India and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BEL, Adani Ent., TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while SBI Life, Titan Company, HDFC Life, IndusInd Bank and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 901.5 points at 80378.13.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Tea / Coffee, Beverages - Alcoholic and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Diversified, Metals - Non Ferrous, Industrial Consumables, Industrial Equipment and Pharmaceuticals sectors during the day.
