Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Diffusion Engineers, SIL Investments, Pilani Invest, GFL Ltd. and Vardhman Hold, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 72.96 points down at 24781.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as RBL Bank, APM Finvest, Satin Creditcare, Vodafone Idea and Future Consumer, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 15 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 35 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, M&M and Eicher Motors were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finserv, BPCL and IndusInd Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 73.48 points down at 81151.27.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Holding Company, Beverages - Alcoholic and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Consumables, Industrial Equipment, Electric/Electronics and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
