Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Precision Camshaft, Stylam Ind, IFB Industries, Rallis India and Gala Precision Engin, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Precision Camshaft, Stylam Ind, IFB Industries, Rallis India and Gala Precision Engin, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 86.05 points down at 24971.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, Akshar Spintex, SecUR Credentials, Narmada Agrobase and Keerti Knowledge, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, Dr. Reddys, Grasim Inds., Bharti Airtel and HDFC Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Trent, M&M, Infosys, Hero MotoCorp and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 318.76 points down at 81501.36.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, Hospitals & Allied Services, Cables and Tourism & Hospitality sectors during the day.
