Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pavna Industries, Naga Dhunseri Group, Sudarshan Chemical, Usha Martin and Neuland Labs, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 34.21 points down at 24964.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vinny Overseas, CreditAccess Grameen, Spandana Sphoorty, Morarjee Text and Dhanvarsha Finvest, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Trent, Hindalco, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, TCS, ICICI Bank, Cipla and Maruti Suzuki ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 230.05 points down at 81381.36.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications and Pharmaceuticals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, FMCG, Hospitals & Allied Services and Construction sectors during the day.
