Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Soma Textiles, Xelpmoc Design, Ausom Enterprise, Sree Rayalaseema and Maan Aluminium, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 16.5 points up at 24998.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vinny Overseas, MEP Infrastructure, Morarjee Text, CreditAccess Grameen and Dhanvarsha Finvest, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, BEL, Maruti Suzuki and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, Tech Mahindra, Trent, Sun Pharma and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 144.31 points up at 81611.41.

Traders piled up positions in General, NBFC, Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, FMCG, Hospitals & Allied Services and Construction sectors during the day.
