Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of The Grob Tea Company, ITD Cementation, The Anup Engg, Dhunseri Tea and United Nilgiri Tea, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 546.81 points down at 25250.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tree House Edu, Stampede Cap, MEP Infrastructure, Shree Tirupati Balaj and Manba Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 2 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 48 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, ONGC, Tata Steel, Dr. Reddys and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Shriram Finance, L&T, Axis Bank and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1769.19 points down at 82497.1.

Traders piled up positions in General, Beverages - Alcoholic, NBFC, Learning & Education and Pharmaceuticals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, FMCG, Hospitals & Allied Services and Construction sectors during the day.
