Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lakshmi Finance, Jay Shree Tea, DCW Ltd, Zee Media Corp and IIFL Securities, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 13.95 points down at 25796.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MEP Infrastructure, Rossell India, Revathi Equipment In, Filatex Fashions and SecUR Credentials, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, M&M, Britannia, Adani Ent. and Infosys were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, ONGC, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto and Titan Company ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 33.49 points down at 84266.29.

Traders piled up positions in General, Beverages - Alcoholic, Media & Entertainment, Packaging and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Industrial Equipment, FMCG, Tourism & Hospitality and Paper sectors during the day.
