Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lakshmi Finance, Vaswani Ind, Vakrangee, VLS Finance and Saregama India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 368.11 points down at 25810.85 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Revathi Equipment In, Stampede Cap(DVR), Stampede Cap, Kross L and Ankit Metal Pwr, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 12 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, NTPC, Hindalco, Tata Steel and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Trent, RIL, Axis Bank and BEL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1272.07 points down at 84299.78.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Packaging, Telecommunications, Aquaculture and Cables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Industrial Equipment and Real Estate sectors during the day.
