Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Zee Media Corp, Mukta Arts, Sree Rayalaseema, Refex Industries and Gopal Snacks, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 211.9 points up at 26216.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap, Future Supply Chain, Rossell India, Orient Technologies and ESAF Small Finance, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, Grasim Inds., Tata Motors, Shriram Finance and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, ONGC, L&T, Hero MotoCorp and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 666.25 points up at 85836.12.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Metals - Non Ferrous and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Electric/Electronics and FMCG sectors during the day.
