Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Shah Alloys, Sonam Clock, S H Kelkar & Co., AstraZeneca and Chaman Lal Setia, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Shah Alloys, Sonam Clock, S H Kelkar & Co., AstraZeneca and Chaman Lal Setia, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 1.36 points down at 25940.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dhanvarsha Finvest, Fusion Micro Finance, Rossell India, Future Supply Chain and HLV Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Power Grid, Tech Mahindra and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while SBI Life, HUL, Grasim Inds., UltraTech Cem. and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 14.57 points down at 84914.04.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Metals - Ferrous and General sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, FMCG and Paper sectors during the day.
