Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sobha (PP), Marksans Pharma, Concord Biotech Ltd., Interarch Building and Themis Medicare, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 375.16 points up at 25790.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Xtglobal Infotech, GSS Infotech, Shree Tirupati Balaj, Filatex Fashions and Gujarat Ambuja, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, ICICI Bank, JSW Steel, L&T and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Grasim Inds., SBI, IndusInd Bank, TCS and Bajaj Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1359.51 points up at 84544.31.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Holding Company, Telecommunications, Glass and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Gas & Petroleum and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
