Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Neogen Chemicals, AGI Infra Ltd., Sintercom India, Newgen Software and Indostar Cap. Fin., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 38.25 points up at 25415.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vodafone Idea, P N Gadgil Jewellers, Kross L, Tolins Tyres and Dhanvarsha Finvest, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Kotak Bank, Titan Company, Nestle India and HUL were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Coal India Ltd, ONGC, Adani Ports SEZ and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 236.57 points up at 83184.8.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Tea / Coffee, Holding Company, Telecommunications and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Gas & Petroleum and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
