Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Euro India Fresh, BSE, Crest Ventures, Silgo Retail and Consol Const., hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Euro India Fresh, BSE, Crest Ventures, Silgo Retail and Consol Const., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 41.0 points down at 25377.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as M K Proteins, Tolins Tyres, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Dhanvarsha Finvest and P N Gadgil Jewellers, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while TCS, HCL Tech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 131.43 points down at 82948.23.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Fertilisers, Tea / Coffee and Holding Company sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, FMCG and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
