Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ecos(India)Mobilit, Aarti Surfactants, Silgo Retail, Modison Metals and Mallcom(India), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 34.8 points up at 25418.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Xtglobal Infotech, Stampede Cap(DVR), Shree Tirupati Balaj, Tolins Tyres and Filatex Fashions, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, NTPC and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Adani Ports SEZ, Coal India Ltd and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 90.88 points up at 83079.66.

Traders piled up positions in sectors, while selling was witnessed in sectors during the day.
