Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Deep Industries, CL Educate, TBZ, Syncom Form and Balu Forge Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 84.25 points up at 24936.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Baazar Style Retail, Stampede Cap(DVR), Compuage Infocom, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil and Globale Tessile, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, Shriram Finance, ICICI Bank, ITC and Britannia were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Hindalco, NTPC and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 375.61 points up at 81559.54.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Learning & Education, Services, Retail and Aquaculture sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Tourism & Hospitality and Tea / Coffee sectors during the day.
