Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Nupur Recyclers, Premier Energies, Nectar Lifesc, Alpa Labs and Shriram EPC, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 53.61 points down at 25145.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Stampede Cap(DVR), Globale Tessile, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Revathi Equipment and Suumaya Lifestyle, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, LTIMindtree, Wipro, BPCL and ITC were among top gainers during the day, while Cipla, RIL, Dr. Reddys, Coal India Ltd and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 151.48 points down at 82201.16.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, General, Retail and Packaging sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Tourism & Hospitality and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
