Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Tokyo Plast Int, Bhageria Industries, Kronox Lab Sciences, Avro India and NBCC , hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 34.6 points up at 25052.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Interarch Building, Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil, Globale Tessile, Poddar Housing and Rubfila Intnl, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, LTIMindtree, Wipro, Divis Labs, IndusInd Bank and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Adani Ent., Nestle India, Maruti Suzuki and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 73.8 points up at 81785.56.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Airlines, Learning & Education and Retail sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Rubber, Electric/Electronics and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
