Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Sundaram Brake, Balu Forge Ind, Oriental Trimex, Nagreeka Export and Minda Corp., hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sundaram Brake, Balu Forge Ind, Oriental Trimex, Nagreeka Export and Minda Corp., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 11.66 points up at 24823.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Akshar Spintex, SecUR Credentials, Saraswati Saree Depo, Filatex Fashions and Suumaya Lifestyle, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 29 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, Coal India Ltd, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma and Bharti Airtel were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Wipro, Divis Labs, LTIMindtree and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 33.02 points up at 81086.21.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Paper and General sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Rubber, Infrastructure, Gas & Petroleum and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
