Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Jet Freight Logistic, TVS Electronics, Lypsa Gems, Bal Pharma and STL Global, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jet Freight Logistic, TVS Electronics, Lypsa Gems, Bal Pharma and STL Global, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 41.3 points up at 24811.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Saraswati Saree Depo, IRB InvIT Fund, Divgi Torqtransfer, GIR Natureview and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., Tata Consumer, Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Motors, Wipro, NTPC, Dr. Reddys and M&M ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 147.89 points up at 81053.19.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Airlines, Fertilisers and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Rubber, Infrastructure, Gas & Petroleum and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
