Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rane Brake Lining, Nelco Ltd, Rane Eng Valve, Rane(Madras)and Lyka Labs, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 71.36 points up at 24770.2 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as GSS Infotech, Divgi Torqtransfer, Brainbees Solutions, Suyog Telematics and Arman Financial, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 13 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Titan Company, SBI Life, Cipla and HDFC Life were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cem., Tata Steel, Power Grid and HDFC Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 102.44 points up at 80905.3.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, General and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Rubber, Infrastructure, Electric/Electronics and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
