Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Vinny Overseas, Kingfa Science Tech, J G Chemicals, Capital Trust and IG Petrochem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vinny Overseas, Kingfa Science Tech, J G Chemicals, Capital Trust and IG Petrochem, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 126.2 points up at 24698.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Brainbees Solutions, Keerti Knowledge, Stampede Cap(DVR), Arman Financial and Jet Airways, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finserv, Shriram Finance and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Adani Ent., Cipla and Apollo Hospital ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 378.18 points up at 80802.86.

Traders piled up positions in Cables, General, Sugar, Telecommunications and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Rubber, Infrastructure, Gas & Petroleum and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
