Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Fiberweb India, Shivam Autotech, Ind-Swift Labs, Torrent Power and J G Chemicals, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 93.86 points up at 24951.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Focus Lighting, SecUR Credentials, Ravindra Energy, Baid Leasing and Equippp Social Impact, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 33 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 17 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, JSW Steel, Asian Paints, HDFC Life, NTPC and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Consumer, Britannia, Dr. Reddys, RIL and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 285.94 points up at 81741.34.

Traders piled up positions in Tea / Coffee, Learning & Education, Trading, Building Materials and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Electric/Electronics, Infrastructure, Aquaculture and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
