Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Fiberweb India, TCPL Packaging, Asahi Songwon, TPL Plastech and Silly Monks Entertainment, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Fiberweb India, TCPL Packaging, Asahi Songwon, TPL Plastech and Silly Monks Entertainment, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 21.21 points up at 24857.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, Focus Lighting, SEL Manufacturing Co, AGI Infra Ltd. and Equitas Small Fin, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, NTPC, BPCL, Power Grid and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while LTIMindtree, Cipla, Tata Consumer, SBI Life and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 60.14 points up at 81415.98.

Traders piled up positions in Learning & Education, General, Packaging, Term Lending Institutions and Fertilisers sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Electric/Electronics, Tobacco and Glass sectors during the day.
