Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of IL&FS Invest, MMTC, RPP Infra Proj, Faze Three Ltd and Standard Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 7.41 points down at 24406.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Filatex Fashions, North Eastern, Manaksia Aluminium, GIR Natureview and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, ONGC, SBI Life, BPCL and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Axis Bank, Nestle India, Titan Company, ICICI Bank and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 109.08 points down at 80039.8.

Traders piled up positions in Trading, Aquaculture, Beverages - Alcoholic, General and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Irrigation & Allied Services, Infrastructure, Plastics, Metals - Non Ferrous and Defence sectors during the day.
