Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Gravita India, EMS, TBZ, Sonam Clock and Indian Hume Pipe, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 30.21 points down at 24479.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Nakoda Group Of Ind(PP), Shrenik, Filatex Fashions, Emcure Pharmaceutica and Lancor Holdings, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, ITC, Tata Consumer, Adani Ports SEZ and NTPC were among top gainers during the day, while Shriram Finance, L&T, Hindalco, Bajaj Finance and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 73.04 points down at 80429.04.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Non Ferrous, Metals - Ferrous, Airlines, Plastics and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
