Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

North Eastern, Sportking India, Antony Waste Handling, Sonam Clock and Nitin Spinners, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of North Eastern, Sportking India, Antony Waste Handling, Sonam Clock and Nitin Spinners, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 21.66 points down at 24509.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shrenik, Baid Leasing, Brightcom Group, SecUR Credentials and Palred Technologies, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., NTPC, UltraTech Cem., HDFC Bank and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers during the day, while Wipro, Kotak Bank, RIL, ITC and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 102.57 points down at 80502.08.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Irrigation & Allied Services, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Metals - Non Ferrous, Beverages - Alcoholic, Airlines and Gems and Jewellery sectors during the day.
