Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of MTNL, Krebs Biochem, Just Dial, Umang Dairies and Manomay Tex India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 187.85 points up at 24800.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sah Polymers, IRIS Clothings, Akme Fintrade(India, Landmark Cars and Praxis Home Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, LTIMindtree, TCS, ONGC, Bajaj Finserv and Wipro were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp, Grasim Inds. and Bajaj Auto ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 626.91 points up at 81343.46.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Irrigation & Allied Services, Packaging and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Non Ferrous, Metals - Ferrous, Beverages - Alcoholic, ReIT and InvIT sectors during the day.
