Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NDR Auto Components, Shoppers Stop, GE Power India, IZMO and Talbros Auto, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of NDR Auto Components, Shoppers Stop, GE Power India, IZMO and Talbros Auto, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 108.75 points down at 24324.45 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sah Polymers, SecUR Credentials, Praxis Home Retail, MEP Infrastructure and Filatex Fashions, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, SBI Life, Divis Labs, Britannia and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, Tata Steel, Hindalco, TCS and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 426.87 points down at 79924.77.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Irrigation & Allied Services, Packaging and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Airlines, Beverages - Alcoholic, Gems and Jewellery, Metals - Non Ferrous and Metals - Ferrous sectors during the day.
