Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Alphageo , Shreyans Ind, Kriti Nutrients, Rail Vikas Nigam and Rashtriya Chemicals, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 3.3 points down at 24320.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as CMI Ltd, Brightcom Group, Filatex Fashions, Sarthak Metals and Praxis Home Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, ITC, HDFC Life, HUL and Tata Consumer were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, Titan Company, BPCL, Shriram Finance and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 36.22 points down at 79960.38.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Packaging and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was witnessed in Gems and Jewellery, Airlines, Beverages - Alcoholic, Aquaculture and Auto sectors during the day.
