Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kalyani Invst, Peria Karamalai Tea, Zodiac Clothing, Vardhman Hold and Naga Dhunseri Group, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 36.75 points up at 23537.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Filatex Fashions, Suumaya Lifestyle, Future Supply Chain, Allcargo Logistics and Bafna Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Power Grid, Shriram Finance, Grasim Inds. and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Cipla, Adani Ports SEZ, Coal India Ltd and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 131.18 points up at 77341.08.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Sugar, Packaging and Paper sectors, while selling was witnessed in Gas & Petroleum, Tobacco, FMCG, Metals - Non Ferrous and Airlines sectors during the day.
