Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kalyani Forge, Windsor Machine, Tirupati Forge, MITCON Const & Engg. and Tera Software, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 41.91 points up at 23516.0 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, Kanani Inds, Future Supply Chain, GIR Natureview and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Titan Company, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Bharti Airtel and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 36.45 points up at 77337.59.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Sugar, Irrigation & Allied Services, Defence and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Non Ferrous, Airlines, Tobacco, Beverages - Alcoholic and FMCG sectors during the day.
