Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Selan Expl Tech, Bharat Rasayan, DRC Systems India, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar and GRSE, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 75.96 points up at 23398.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Borosil Scientific, Kanani Inds, IndInfravit Trust, Ahimsa Ind and GIR Natureview, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 35 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 15 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shriram Finance, HDFC Life, Divis Labs, M&M and Titan Company were among top gainers during the day, while HUL, Axis Bank, Britannia, ICICI Bank and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 204.33 points up at 76810.9.

Traders piled up positions in Sugar, Cables, Miscellaneous, Fertilisers and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tobacco, Banks, Airlines, Beverages - Alcoholic and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors during the day.
