Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Panache Digilife, Essar Shipping, Hind Const Co, Sheetal Cool and HG Infra Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 5.65 points down at 23264.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sanginita Chemicals, Neueon Towers, Kronox Lab Sciences, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Kaya, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 29 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, L&T, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Kotak Bank, Divis Labs, Asian Paints, Dr. Reddys and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 33.49 points down at 76456.59.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Miscellaneous, Industrial Equipment, Sugar and Packaging sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, IT Software, Banks, Tobacco and NBFC sectors during the day.
