Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Zenith Exports, Likhitha Infra, Gufic BioSci, Emkay Global and Premier Exp, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 30.96 points down at 23259.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Neueon Towers, Bohra Industries, Borosil Scientific, Compuage Infocom and Kaya, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 30 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 20 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Grasim Inds., Hero MotoCorp, Cipla and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, M&M and LTIMindtree ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 203.28 points down at 76490.08.

Traders piled up positions in Fertilisers, Airlines, Cables, Aquaculture and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Defence, IT Software, Banks and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors during the day.
