Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Wendt India, Nava Bharat Vent., Va Tech Wabag, Authum Investment and Minda Ind., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 201.06 points up at 22821.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as SecUR Credentials, Morarjee Text, Compuage Infocom, Atal Realtech and Neueon Towers, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life, Shriram Finance and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Hero MotoCorp, HUL, Asian Paints and Nestle India ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 692.27 points up at 75074.51.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, Infrastructure, Logistics, Miscellaneous and Term Lending Institutions sectors, while selling was witnessed in Retail, IT - Hardware, Airlines, FMCG and Banks sectors during the day.
