Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Heritage Foods, E2E Networks, Ujaas Energy, Viceroy Hotels and TCI Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Heritage Foods, E2E Networks, Ujaas Energy, Viceroy Hotels and TCI Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 1379.41 points down at 21884.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Bodhi Tree Multimedia, Ibull Housing Fin(PP), Nirvikara Paper Mill, Signpost India and Vaibhav Global, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 8 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 42 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, Nestle India, Britannia, Hero MotoCorp and Tata Consumer were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Adani Ent., ONGC, NTPC and SBI ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 4389.73 points down at 72079.05.

Traders piled up positions in FMCG, Retail, Beverages - Alcoholic, ReIT and InvIT sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Term Lending Institutions, Shipping, Power and Construction sectors during the day.
