Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of PTC Industries, Adani Power, GAIL, Power Finance Corp. and REC, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 733.21 points up at 23263.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Filatex Fashions, Vaxtex Cotfab, Sintex Plastics Tech, Compuage Infocom and Revathi Equipment, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, NTPC, SBI, Power Grid and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while Eicher Motors, LTIMindtree, HCL Tech, Asian Paints and Sun Pharma ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 2507.47 points up at 76468.78.

Traders piled up positions in Term Lending Institutions, Shipping, Gas & Petroleum, Power and Industrial Equipment sectors, while selling was witnessed in Trading, Hospitals & Allied Services, Paper, Rubber and Apparels sectors during the day.
